The service

What does Elsford Publishing do?

We support researchers through the journal publication process: choosing suitable Web of Science and Scopus journals, checking manuscript readiness, formatting to author guidelines, preparing and managing the submission, and helping you respond to reviewers through to publication.

Do you guarantee acceptance?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Every decision is made by the journal’s editors and peer reviewers. What we do is remove the avoidable reasons for rejection, such as poor journal fit, formatting problems and incomplete submissions, so your research is judged on its merits.

Do you write or edit research papers?

We do not write, ghostwrite or author research, and we never change your data or findings. Our work covers journal selection, presentation, formatting, compliance with journal requirements and the submission process. You remain the author.

Which subject areas do you support?

All of them. We support researchers in every academic field, including medicine and health sciences, life sciences, engineering, the physical sciences, computer science, business, the social sciences and the arts and humanities.

Do you work with researchers outside your home country?

Yes. We work remotely with researchers worldwide, and many of our clients are based in Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. All work is carried out in English.

Journals and indexing

Which journals do you target?

Peer-reviewed journals indexed in Web of Science (SCIE, SSCI, AHCI or ESCI) and Scopus, chosen to match your manuscript’s scope. We confirm indexing for every journal on your shortlist before recommending it.

Can you get my paper into a Q1 journal?

We can tell you honestly whether a Q1 journal is a realistic target for your manuscript, and prepare the strongest possible submission if it is. Whether a paper is accepted depends on the research and on peer review.

Are publication fees included in your price?

No. Article processing charges and submission fees are set by the publisher and paid by you directly to them. We show you the fees for every journal on your shortlist before you choose.

Timing and cost

How long does publication take?

We reply to your enquiry the same day, and your full manuscript assessment follows within 10–15 working days. Publication timelines are up to 90 days, subject to peer review and editorial approval. Review times vary by journal, so we give you a realistic estimate for each journal on your shortlist.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the support you need, from journal selection alone to full submission management. The first assessment is free, and you receive a written quote before any work begins.

Is my manuscript kept confidential?

Yes. Your manuscript, data and unpublished findings are shared only with the people working on your submission. We never use them to train any automated system, and we are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement.
